Mary Mary Bar is generally open to guests Sunday to Wednesday (from 5:00 PM to 10:30 PM), on Thursdays (from 5:00 PM to 00:00 AM), Fridays and Saturdays (from 4:00 PM to 00:00 AM). However, our food menu is available from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM, while office hours run from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Please always ask our team before booking, as there may be exceptions due to national holidays.
What is the history behind your brand name?
Mary Mary Bar takes its name from the building it’s housed in, within the walls of the former St Mary’s Hospital, built in 1841. It’s a tribute to the place’s heritage and an homage to history now reinterpreted as a modern temple for mixology experiences.

Our restaurant fully celebrates the Tasmanian terroir with a whole portfolio of reimagined classic cocktails, from the Italian cooler to the Revival, with a touch of botanical herbs to enhance the aroma. A rich food menu can be paired with seasonal ciders, and local wines.
